AMD Expo ram causing boot issues. I just swapped out my cpu and motherboard today for the new Ryzen 7950x. I have been having issues with the expo automatic overclocking. Whenever I try to use it, it gives me errors whenever I restart my PC. It sends me to the recovery screen and tells me that my PC needs to be repaired.

I've seen from reviews asrock is only good with motherboards for AMD, for example i have the B450M Pro 4 and its very decent, can overclock, no throttling etc and it's the only B450 mATX motherboard with passive cooling on the vrms. For a decent price, B550M pro 4 is the same. Most boards have a single PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, or for high end boards, dual PCIe 5.0 slots that will split to x8/x8. They will also have a single PCIe 4.0 m.2 connected directly to the CPU, and other m.2s connected to the chipset. ASRock also makes high end motherboards (see their fatal1ty line) and their cheaper boards are often better than similarly priced boards from Asus or MSI. ASRock has made some good boards for years, their VRM have been pretty good recently too. I'd put them up with ASUS. Asrock has good and bad products just like the rest of the motherboard manufacturers. Look up independent reviews on any product you plan on purchasing.
